0. Notice of the Applicability of this Prospectus
This Prospectus describes all of the doctoral programs in theology at Boston University as of the Fall semester of the 1994-1995 academic year. Students beginning doctoral programs in or after Fall, 1994 are subject to this Prospectus.
The written qualifying examinations are offered by the Theology Faculty in one examination week each semester, at times described in this Prospectus. Doctoral candidates writing qualifying examinations during or after Fall, 1995, regardless of the starting date of their degree, are required to take all of their written qualifying examinations in the same examination week.
The definition of written and oral qualifying examinations included in the Prospectus is applicable to all doctoral candidates beginning their degrees in or after Fall, 1994. A candidate beginning the degree program prior to Fall, 1994 may elect to take the examinations described in this Prospectus.
